State Aid to Fair
Through
enabling act 1122, passed during the regular session of the 1969
Legislature, the Agriculture Center Board is co-sponsor of this
year’s National Peanut Festival and Fair and pays a portion of
the premiums, prizes and awards listed in the program.

General Rules and
Regulations
1.
Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
2. The
exhibits are three-sided stalls, 10 feet deep, 8 feet wide and 8
feet high. Indoor/Outdoor carpet will be furnished
for
each booth.
3. Each
exhibit will have one outlet for 110 volt current. Extra
lighting will be furnished by the exhibitor.
4. All
entries will be put in place on Monday, October 26th
between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and remain through Sunday,
November 8th. Exhibitors must be there between 1:00
& 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th to dismantle
exhibits in
order
to prevent loss or damage to exhibits.
5. No one
will be allowed to work on exhibits after 7:00 p.m. Monday,
October 26th. DOORS WILL BE LOCKED &
THERE
WILL BE NO SECURITY.
6. All
prize money will be given out on the day the exhibits are taken
down.
7. All
exhibits should be new.
8. Prize
money will be forfeited if all exhibit materials are not
removed by 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. This includes
complete clean up of exhibit area and removal of all nails,
tacks, and staples from wall.
9.
Reasonable caution in safeguarding of all exhibits will be
exercised, but the Festival staff cannot assume
responsibility
for any
loss or damage incurred.
10. The
Title sign should state the theme of the exhibit and all things
used in the exhibit should contribute to the theme.
11.
Exhibits will be judged Friday morning, October 30th,
by 12:00 noon.
12. Judges
are not required to award prizes in every category.
13. No
exhibitor tickets will be given.
14. Please
limit the number of youth for set-up of exhibits. Due to
limited space in the building and for safety purposes,
no
other children will be allowed in the building during set-up.
