KIDS COOKIE CONTEST DEBUTS AT

NATIONAL PEANUT FESTIVAL

KARO SYRUP GIVES CASH PRIZES FOR

BEST COOKIE RECIPES

Create a great tasting cookie and compete for cash in the Karo Corn Syrup “Kids Cookie   Contest.” New at the National Peanut Festival.

Any type of cookie or bar is welcome, baked or no-bake style. Use the natural sweetness of Karo Syrup (any flavor or type) as an ingredient, now available with 0g high fructose.

Prizes of $100, $50, and $25 reward maker of the top tasting kids cookie (10 ingredients or less). A second category gives $75 for the Best No-Bake Cookie (6 ingredients or less).

Both categories will be judged on taste (40%), ease of preparation (40%), and creativeness (20%). Each kid can enter once per category.

Any kid ages 6-12 is welcome to prepare an entry and deliver it to the Wiregrass Commons Mall Food Court between 9-10am. Judging will begin at 10am and the awards will be given out following the Costume Contest Awards (Burlington Court at Wiregrass Commons Mall).
