2009 COLORING CONTEST RULES

1.        This contest must take place at school.

 

2.        Each school will send only three (3) entries per grade level.

 

3.       Send the entries back to the Superintendent’s office.  They will contact our chairperson, Tracy Burdine-Creel at (334) 791-9702.  Entries should be returned by Tuesday, October 20, 2009.  (NO entries will be accepted after the October 20th deadline.)  County and City schools return to central office.

 

4.       The schools and families will be notified if they have winners providing all information is ON the Coloring Contest page.  To be contacted as a winner, it is vital that all information is provided.

 

5.       The winners will be contacted by phone and/or through the schools to pick up their prizes Sunday, November 8, 2009, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Any preliminary winner who would like to have his/her coloring sheet back (they must be informed by the school) to come to the Fairgrounds on Sunday, November 8, 2009 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Entries that are not picked up during the designated time will become the property of the National Peanut Festival and WILL NOT be returned.  DO NOT SEND A WINNER WITHOUT A CURRENT CONTACT NUMBER OR SCHOOL NUMBER.

 

6.       Prizes:  There will be a First, Second and Third place winner in each grade level.

 

 Kindergarten:

                1st place winner receives a ribbon and $15.00

                2nd place winner receives a ribbon and $10.00

                3rd place winner receives a ribbon and $5.00

 

 First Grade:

                1st place winner receives a ribbon and $15.00

                2nd place winner receives a ribbon and $10.00

                3rd place winner receives a ribbon and $5.00

 

 Second Grade:

                1st place winner receives a ribbon and $15.00

                2nd place winner receives a ribbon and $10.00

                3rd place winner receives a ribbon and $5.00

 

7.        A copy of these rules must be given to each teacher and one copy must be sent home with each preliminary winner.
