SHOW RULES
1. ADGA Rules shall govern.
2. The Junior and Senior Doe are separately sanctioned by ADGA for the following breeds: Alpine, La Mancha, Nubian, Saanen, All Other Purebreds and Recorded Grades.
3. Alabama Health rules shall be observed. All goats must specifically, for this show, be covered by an official Health Certificate - issued within 30 days of the show date by an accredited veterinarian certifying the animals to be free from symptoms of contagious or infectious diseases. Also all goats older than 6 months must be tested for TB & Brucellosis within 6 months of the show date or originate from a certified & accredited herd.
4. A veterinarian will be on hand to check animals prior to entry to show barn for signs of infectious diseases-sore mouth, pink-eye, ringworm, abscesses, or suspected caseous lymphadenitis. The veterinarian has the final decision on whether animals satisfy all health requirements. By application for admission, each exhibitor agrees to show their animals subject to these rules. Presenting obviously unhealthy animals may, subject to the ruling of the show chairman, result in entire herd's disqualification from show.
5. Goats under 6 months of age may be shown, with stamped duplicate application for registration issued by ADGA. Original Registration Certificates required on all goats 6 months or older.

6. The base date of the show is November 5, 2007, the date animal is to be judged. Entry fee is $6.00 per animal. Bedding will not be provided. Deadline for entries October 15. Early entries will receive their Ag decals and tickets by mail. The remainder will be picked up from show chairman upon arrival at the fairgrounds.
7. Animals must be in place by November 5, 8:00 a.m. Release will be November 5, at conclusion of show. Animals may arrive anytime after noon Sunday, November 4. There will be no pre show milk out.
8. Entry fee must accompany the entry form. Make checks payable to National Peanut Festival. Send to National Peanut Festival, 5622 U.S. Hwy. 231 South, Dothan, AL, 36301. If there are questions, please call Mickey DeShazo at (334) 693-2249 or the National Peanut Festival Office at (334) 793-4323.
