GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION
1. Entry fee is $3.00 per photograph. There is a limit of
15 photographs per person per year.
2. Photographs entered in previous years will not be
accepted.
3. We reserve the right to eliminate sensitive subject
matter.
4. All reasonable caution in handling & safeguarding of
photographs will be exercised. However, the Festival
assumes
no responsibility for any lost or damaged photographs.
5. Entries can be dropped off at the following locations:

Entry deadline is 5:00 P.M. on Monday, October 26, 2009.
6. First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention ribbons will
be awarded in each lot.
7. The Chairman reserves the right to reject or reclassify
any entries.
8. Entries will be on display in the Premium Building from
Friday, October 30th through Saturday, November 7th.
9. Entries should be picked up on Sunday, November 8th
between 1:00 and 3:00 P.M. ALL PHOTOGRAPHS NOT PICKED
UP WILL BE HELD FOR 30 DAYS ONLY AT PHOTORAMA,
INCORPORATED.
10. Photographs with titles, numbers, or signatures will
not be judged.
11. Checks to the winners will be mailed from the Festival
office.
PRIZES:
First Place Blue Ribbon winners in each Lot will compete for
Overall Class winners.
Only Overall Class winners will receive cash awards. Cash
awards for Overall Class Winners are as follows:
CLASS 01: Professional
1st – Rosette & $100.00, 2nd - $75.00,
3rd - $50.00, and Honorable Mention - $25.00.
CLASS 02: Amateur
1st – Rosette & $100.00, 2nd - $75.00,
3rd - $50.00, and Honorable Mention - $25.00.
*CLASS 03: Open
1st – Rosette & $100.00, 2nd - $75.00,
3rd - $50.00, and Honorable Mention -$25.00.
**CLASS 04: Black & White Open
1st – Rosette & $100.00, 2nd - $75.00,
3rd - $50.00, and Honorable Mention - $25.00.
CLASS 05: Juvenile
1st - $75.00, 2nd - $50.00, 3rd
- $25.00, and Honorable Mention - $10.00.
The Grand Prize Winner will be judged and chosen from the
four First Place Overall winners from each Class (excluding
Class 05), and will be awarded an additional $100.00 cash
prize and rosette.
The Image Agency will award an additional $100.00 for their
overall best pick. The photograph will appear on the cover
of Dothan Magazine. First place class winners will be
featured in upcoming issues.
The First Place winners of the Festival Activities and
Peanuts categories will each receive an additional $100.00
cash prize.

CLASS 01: Professional
– Any person receiving income from photographs.
1 Minimum size 8x10, maximum 12x18.
2. Must be mounted on art board or foam
coreboard. No frames accepted.
3. Matted photos accepted, borders not to
exceed 3 ½” on each side.
4. Limit two (2) entries per category per
person.
CLASS 02: Amateur
– Hobby only.
1. Minimum size 5x7, maximum 8x12.
2. Must be mounted on art board or foam
coreboard. No frames accepted.
3. Matted photos accepted, borders not to
exceed 3 ½” on each side.

person.
CLASS 03: Open
– Rules are the same as in Divisions I and II.
