PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST 2007

RULES

1. One entry per person.
2. Must be original work of contestants, no stencils or kits permitted.
3. Art supplies should be used such as paint, markers, crayons, etc.
4. NO CARVING.
5. NO ACCESSORIES SUCH AS EARRINGS, EYES, OR HATS ATTACHED TO PUMPKIN.  (The pumpkin will automatically be disqualified if attachments are used).

 WHERE

1. Bring decorated pumpkin with entry form to the Premium Building at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds Thursday, November 1^st, from 4:00-7:00 P.M.

 JUDING CRITERIA

1. Originality – 20 points
2. Artistic Design – 20 points
3. Suitability of pumpkin to design – 10 points

TOTAL: 50 Points

Judging will be Friday, November 2^nd, 2007 from 9:00-11:00 A.M.

 PRIZES (In each grade level)

      1^st Place: $30.00                            2^nd Place: $20.00                 3^rd Place: $10.00

      Prize money will be awarded Sunday, November 11^th from 1:00-3:00 P.M.  Pumpkins can be

      picked up from the Fairgrounds at that time.  Any pumpkins that are left after 3:00 P.M. will

     be discarded.

DISPLAY

    Prize winning pumpkins will be displayed in the Premium Building at the National Peanut

    Festival Fairgrounds.
