The primary purpose of the Junior Fair Board is to promote, support and represent the National Peanut Festival. This is accomplished by serving as public relations ambassadors for the 2020 Festival, volunteering a minimum of 40 hours to community service of which 20 hours will be served during the National Peanut Festival, Nov 6-15th, 2020.
Interested high school students, who meet the following requirements, are eligible to apply.
Applications are due to the National Peanut Festival office (5622 Us Hwy 231 South, Dothan 36301) no later than 12:00 Noon on Friday, Feb 28, 2020. Late applications will not be accepted.
The Junior Fair Board 2020 requirements are:
You must be a high school Sophomore or Junior for the 2019-2020 school year. (Jr or Sr ‘20-21)
You must have a 3.0 grade average or greater.
