National Peanut Festival Professional Photography Policy
Effective for the 2025 Festival Season
To preserve the safety, enjoyment, and integrity of the National Peanut Festival (NPF), professional photographers conducting client sessions during festival operating hours must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Definition of Professional Photography
“Professional photography” refers to any photo session conducted for commercial purposes, including but not limited to:
Paid client sessions (e.g., family portraits, senior photos, engagement shoots)
Promotional shoots for businesses or brands
Use of DSLR, mirrorless, or comparable professional-grade equipment
2. Registration & Approval
All professional photographers must register with NPF in advance and receive written approval prior to conducting sessions.
Registration includes submission of business name, contact info, sample portfolio, and intended shoot dates/times.
Approved photographers will receive a Photography Badge for visible display during sessions.
3. Scheduling & Location Restrictions
Sessions may only occur during festival operating hours and must not obstruct foot traffic, vendor operations, or scheduled events.
Photography is prohibited in restricted areas, including backstage zones, ticketing booths, and designated VIP spaces.
Use of props, lighting equipment, or tripods must be minimal and portable. No setups requiring electrical access or large staging.
4. Client Admission & Conduct
All clients must purchase valid admission tickets for entry.
Photographers are responsible for ensuring clients follow all festival rules and conduct themselves respectfully.
Sessions must not interfere with other guests’ enjoyment or block access to attractions.
5. Branding & Usage
Any images taken on festival grounds must credit the National Peanut Festival when shared publicly or used in promotional materials.
NPF reserves the right to request copies of select images for marketing or archival use, with photographer credit.
6. Liability & Insurance
Photographers must carry general liability insurance and agree to hold NPF harmless from any claims arising from their activities.
NPF is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.
7. Enforcement
Failure to comply with this policy may result in revocation of photography privileges, removal from festival grounds, or denial of future access.
NPF reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time.
