Feathers will fly and pride will shine at the National Peanut Festival’s Poultry Shows—where youth, craftsmanship, and community come together in one unforgettable barnyard showcase.
🐣 Events Include:
• NPF 4-H/FFA Youth Poultry Show
• NPF Open Poultry Show (non-4-H/FFA participants)
🎟️ Entry Fee: $8 per bird (limit 4 birds per exhibitor)
📅 Key Dates:
• Bird Check-In: Thursday, Nov. 6 5:00–8:00 PM
• Youth Showmanship: Friday, Nov. 7 6:00 PM
• Awards Ceremony: Friday, Nov. 7 7:00 PM
• Bird Check-Out: Friday after awards or Sunday, Nov. 9 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
🏆 Awards & Extras:
• Grand & Reserve Champions in each class
• Belt buckles for top Showmanship winners
• Spirit & Merit Awards
• Cage Decorating & Educational Exhibits encouraged
• Premiums mailed post-festival
🧼 All birds must pass health inspection and be cared for daily. NPIP or state testing required at check-in.
