The National Peanut Festival invites bakers, artists, and imaginative minds of all ages to enter two of our most colorful competitions: the Cake Decorating Contest and the Decorated Pumpkin Contest. Whether you're piping buttercream or painting pumpkins, this is your chance to showcase your creativity and celebrate the spirit of the season.
🍰 Cake Decorating Contest
From elegant wedding cakes to playful cupcakes, this contest is a feast for the eyes!
- Entry Drop-Off: Thursday, October 23, 2025 9:00–10:00 AM
- Judging Criteria: Decoration (50%), Presentation (25%), Originality (25%)
- Divisions: Adult, Youth, Professional
- Classes: Special Occasion, Festival Theme, Wedding Cake/Rolled Fondant, Decorated Cupcakes
- Prizes:
- 🥇 1st Place: $30
- 🥈 2nd Place: $25
- 🥉 3rd Place: $15
- 🌟 Best of Show: $75 per division
- Winners Announced: 1:00 PM at the Bank Plus Arena (South Gate)
- Display Duration: All winning entries remain on display through the Festival
🎨 Decorated Pumpkin Contest
No carving, no mess—just pure artistic expression using artificial pumpkins!
- Entry Drop-Off: Thursday, October 23, 2025 5:00–7:00 PM
- Judging Criteria: Originality, Artistic Design, Festival Theme (20 points each)
- Classes:
- Kindergarten–High School
- Adult
- Special Education (Elementary & High School)
- Prizes:
- Youth: 🥇 $20–$25 🥈 $15–$20 🥉 $10–$15
- Adults: 🥇 $25 🥈 $20 🥉 $15
- 🌟 Overall Grand Prize (1 Adult & 1 Student): Rosette + $50
- Display Location: Premium Exhibit Building
- Pickup: Monday, November 10, 2025 5:00–7:00 PM
