Junior Fair Board Application

By submitting this form, you express your desire to be a candidate for the Junior Fair Board of the National Peanut Festival. I am willing to volunteer a total of 50 hours with The National Peanut Festival by December 31, 2026. This commitment will include 20 hours prior/after the National Peanut Festival and 30 hours during the National Peanut Festival. I may be asked to assist in areas with a Board Member supervising, including AG barn activities, concerts, arena events, gate activity, office, social media content, Peanut Pavilion, or other Fun Fairground activities.

YOUR APPLICATION IS THE FIRST STEP IN THE PROCESS OF SELECTION. NOT EVERY APPLICANT WILL RECEIVE AN INVITATION TO INTERVIEW.

*Applications are due to the National Peanut Festival office (5622 US Hwy 231 South, Dothan 36301) no later than 12 NOON on Friday, February 20, 2026. *If selected for an interview, the program interviews will be held in March. You will be contacted about a specific interview time.

* Please attach two (2) letters of recommendation – one from a teacher/principal/school counselor and one from a personal reference (non-family).

* Please attach a two (2) minute video explaining why you want to serve on the NPF Junior Fair Board.

Parental consent forms will be emailed to your parents along with your commitment letter.
